Following are the costs for writing and sending out an e-mail query to meeting planners and speaking bureaus.

   - writing articles - $100-200 for 500-1000 word articles (20c a word)
   - writing website copy - $125-150 an hour or 20c a word
   - writing a book or book proposal - $150 an hour;  $2000-5000 for a book proposal;  $8000-15,000 for      a book
